Sharon Konkler age 71 of Macomb, Illinois passed away, Wednesday, October 5, 2016, at the Rushville Nursing and Rehab Center in Rushville, Illinois. She was born December 18, 1944, in Rushville, Illinois, to Ed and Lucille Lefler Zimmerman.
Surviving to mourn her passing are 2 Sons: Jack Konkler, Oglesby, Illinois, John Konkler, Macomb, Illinois, 7 Grandchildren, 4 Great Grandchildren, 1 Great Great Grandchild, 1 Brother: Jerry and Michele Zimmerman, Roseville, Illinois, 2 Sisters; Linda Fowler, Macomb and Sandy Hamm, Macomb.
Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, 1 Brother: Larry Zimmerman and 1 Daughter In Law: Connie Konkler.
Sharon had been employed at Western Illinois University in food service. She enjoyed fishing, watching people perform karaoke, time spent doing crossword puzzles, but most of all she loved the time spent with her family.
Cremation rites have been accorded. Graveside services were 3:30 P.M. Saturday, October 15, 2016, at Mt. Auburn Cemetery, Colchester, with Rev. Mark Smith. Memorial is to the family of Sharon.
