Abigail Faith Hoenig

Abigail Faith Hoenig was born sleeping with her angel wings and passed peacefully into the arms of Jesus on Sunday, April 19, 2020, at 11:20 a.m. She was joyfully met at the gates of Heaven by her Great-Grandma Marilyn “Joyce” Locke, her Great-Grandpa Merlin Markey, and her Great-Grandparents Leo Hoenig Sr. and Arlene Hoenig.

She will be loved and live forever in the hearts of the two who are honored to have been chosen as her parents, Cullen and Angelica Hoenig; her big sister, Markey Jo Hoenig; her paternal grandparents, Bill and Pam Hoenig; her maternal grandparents, Mitch and Paula Markey; her paternal great-grandparents, Charles and Joan Ruschill, and her maternal great-grandparents, Kathleen Markey and Paul Locke.

She will also be dearly loved and missed by her aunts and uncles, Chris Hoenig, Caleb and Michelle Markey, and Colton Markey; her cousin Adeline Joyce Markey; as well as many other dear aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Abigail Faith gave us a lifetime of love during her short time on earth. She touched many lives and is loved deeply by family and friends.

Private family graveside services will be at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 22, 2020, at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens Cemetery. Jones Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.

The Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep Foundation provided a volunteer photographer to record her short time with her parents.

A memorial in Abigail’s name has been established to raise money for a cuddle cot to donate to McDonough District Hospital, allowing other grieving families to spend more time with their loved one so that they may be comforted during the loss of their child.
