William Clark Obituary

William E. Clark age 75 of Macomb, Illinois, passed away at his home Wednesday, May 4, 2016, surrounded by his loving family. He was born June 15, 1940, in Macomb, to Galen B. Clark and Esther I. Carpenter Clark. On May 27, 1967, in Macomb, Bill was united in marriage to Hope G. Knight.
Surviving to mourn his passing are his wife Hope of 49 years, 1 Daughter: Trixy Dace of Oregon, Illinois, and his one and only Grandson: William Colby Clark Dace of Oregon, Illinois, 1 Son: John Clark of Bushnell, Illinois, Granddaughter: Amber Clark, of Macomb, Illinois,Great Granddaughter: Larissa, Great Grandson: Jaxton both of Macomb, 2 Brothers Richard and Gene Clark both of Macomb.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents, 1 Son: William (Billy) Clark.
Bill was a graduate of Colchester High School in 1958, Member of Ducks Unlimited and the National Rifle Association, associate member of the Macomb V.F.W.. He was a beer and liquor salesman for 35 years, Owned and operated the Waterfront Bar in Dallas City, Illinois for 7 years, drove a school bus for Macomb School District for 12 years. He enjoyed quail and pheasant hunting, loved spending time on the water boating and, loved to fish. Most of all he loved the time he spent with his family and friends.
Funeral services will be 12:00 Noon Saturday, May 7, 2016, at the Jones Mortuary in Colchester, with Rev. Lee Unger. Visitation with the family will be from 10:30 A.M. Till time of services on Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will follow the services Saturday at Mt. Auburn Cemetery in Colchester. Memorial is to McDonough District Hospital Hospice. Friends may view and sign the book at the funeral home after 10:00 A.M. Friday. Online Condolences may be expressed to the family at jonesmortuaryfh.com
