Walter A. Neill age 58 of Macomb, passed away at his home with his family at his side, on Monday, May 4, 2020. He was born January 17, 1962 in Peoria, Illinois.
Surviving to mourn his passing is his mother: Janice Malone, Macomb, 3 brothers: Greg (Tanisha) Malone, Macomb, Edwin (Ashley) Malone, Burlington, Iowa, Joshua (Danielle) Malone, Woodbine, Iowa, 2 sisters: Kathy (Lincoln) McKee Glass, Alexandria, Indiana, Rebecca (Michael) Glover, Macomb, several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and extended family 4-life.
Walter was preceded in death by his grandparents, and 1 brother: Timothy Neill.
Walter was a member of the Son’s of the Macomb American Legion. He loved music and getting to go to concerts, he also loved riding his bike, visiting with family and friends, Harley Davison Motorcycles, eating coconut cream pie, family cookouts, and the time he spent with his cat Normal. Walter always put everyones needs in front of his. He always checked in with his family to see how they were and if they needed anything. Of all the things Walter enjoyed doing, the time he spent with his family and friends brought him the greatest joy.
Private Graveside services will be 2:00 P.M. Friday, May 8, 2020, at Oakwood Cemetery in Macomb with Rev. Jim Clayton. Friends may view and sign the register book at the Jones Mortuary, from 8:30 A.M. to 7:00 P.M. Thursday, May 7, 2020. Memorial is to St. Judes Children’s Hospital.
