Thomas A. Baird age 78 of Carthage, Illinois. Passed away April 30, 2016, at Veterans Hospital in Iowa City. He was born January 28, 1938 in Colchester to Walter O. and Lucile McGaughey Baird. He was united in marriage October 24, 1991 in Kahoka, Missouri to Karen Newman, she survives of Carthage.
Cremation rites have been accorded. Visitation with the family will be Wednesday, May 4, 2016, from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the Jones Mortuary in Colchester. Private family burial will take place at a later date. Memorials are to Midwest Magic Softball Team, Colchester Labor Day Celebration.
