Theresa Frances Kipling age 96 of Bettendorf, Iowa, formerly of Colchester, Illinois, passed away at 2:34 A.M. Friday, May 6, 2016, at the Bettendorf Health Care Center, Bettendorf, Iowa. She was born May 19, 1919, in Ferguson, Missouri, to Joseph and Teresa Moellmann Wonsewitz. She was united in marriage November 19, 1941, in Ferguson, Missouri, to Ray Kipling, he preceded her in death in 2006. She was also preceded in death by her parents, 1 Granddaughter: Cori Windler, 2 Son In Laws: Art Madesian and Kevin Dean, 6 Brothers: Joseph, Raymond, Elmer, Charles, Francis, Leonard, 3 Sisters: Mildred, Lucille and 1 infant sister, Rosalie.
Surviving to mourn her passing are 3 Daughters: Karen Madesian, Bettendorf, Iowa, Kathleen Windler, La Grande, Oregon, Kay Kipling, Sarasota, Florida, 8 Grandchildren: Douglas Madesian, Davenport, Iowa, Diane Madesian, Bettendorf, Iowa, Daniel Madesian, Bettendorf, Iowa, Sara Windler (Jeremy French) Berkeley, California, Jenny Windler, Berkeley, California, Ian Dean, Sarasota, Florida, Molly Dean, New York City, New York, Melanie (Dave) Connor, Manhattan Beach, California, 5 Great Grandchildren: Tyler, Cooper, Reagan, West, Coralynn,
Theresa was a member of St. Pauls Catholic Church in Macomb. She enjoyed sewing, making patchwork quilts, crocheting, playing cards, bingo, walking and watching St. Louis Cardinal baseball games.
Funeral service will be 1:30 P.M. Wednesday, May 11, 2016, at the Jones Mortuary in Colchester with Monsignor Richard Pricco. Visitation with the family will be from 12:30 to 1:30 P.M. at the funeral home on Wednesday. Burial will follow the services at Mt. Auburn Cemetery in Colchester. Friends may view and sign the register book at the funeral home after 9:00 A.M. Tuesday. Memorials are to St. Paul Catholic Church, St. Judes Children's Hospital, or Donors Choice.
