Terry L. Catron age 66 of Macomb, passed away Friday evening September 16, 2022, at McDonough District Hospital in Macomb. He was born February 6 1956, in Middlesboro, Kentucky, to Lee and Esther Rucker Catron.
Surviving to mourn his passing is his father: Lee Catron, Macomb, 1 sister: Deborah Blaesing, Macomb, 2 nieces: Shannon (Randy) Kelley, Colchester, Jennifer (Steve) Cerven, Colchester, 1 nephew: Clayton (Kristi) Schmidt, Macomb, along with several great nieces and nephews, and a very special friend: Andy Tournear, Macomb.
Terry was preceded in death by his mother, Esther Catron.
Terry proudly served his country starting in 1978, in the United States Navy aboard the USS Enterprise. He attended the University of Arizona. He obtained his Masters Degree. Terry loved to play his guitar, listen to music especially Elton John. He became a master at chest and always had a chest board set up, he also enjoyed cooking especially his world famous spaghetti. Terry took pride in everything he did and worked hard to do his best, he became very tech savvy with all new technology. Terry’s dogs became very close to his heart with Curly and later Princess, he and Curly were the best of friends. Terry loved to have a good time, he had a very special bond with his mom Esther.
Cremation rites have been accorded. Visitation with the family will be from 1:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M. Sunday, September 25, 2022, at the Jones Mortuary in Colchester. Military rites will be conducted at 1:30 P.M. Sunday September 25, 2022, at the funeral home by the Macomb V.F.W. and Macomb American Legion. Friends may sign the register book at the funeral home after 8:30 A.M. Sunday. Memorial is to the McDonough County Animal Shelter.
