Shirley A. Burton age 75 of Macomb, passed away at 9:30 P.M. Thursday, August 13, 2015, at Heartland Health Care Center in Macomb. She was born March 12, 1940, in Colchester to Roy and Margaret Miller Johnson. They both preceded her in death.
Surviving to mourn her passing are 2 Sons: Terry and Tabitha Burton, Blandinsville, Tim Burton, Arkansas, 1 Daughter: Teresa and Joe Rodriguez, Louisiana, 7 Grandchildren, 13 Great Grandchildren, 1 Brother: Pete and Sandy Johnson, Galesburg, Illinois, 2 Nephews and 3 Great Nephews.
Shirley had worked as a CNA at the Elms and Heartland Health Care Center in Macomb, along with food services at Western Illinois University and Ponderosa in Macomb.
Cremation Rites have been accorded. Private family services will be held at Hutchinson Cemetery, at a later date. Jones Mortuary in Colchester is handleing arrangements for the family.
