Seth E. Haines

Seth E. Haines age 47 of La Harpe, Illinois, passed away Wednesday, January 15, 2025, at Memorial Hospital in Springfield, Illinois.  He was born January 20, 1977, in Carthage, to Dwight and Dianne Crum Haines.  Seth was united in marriage July 30, 2007, in Macomb, to Tanya Bundy.

Surviving to mourn his passing is his wife: Tanya Haines, La Harpe, mother: Dianne Haines, Colchester, 1 son: Garrett (Addison Fowler) Haines, St. Joseph, Missouri, 1 grandson that is on the way, 1 sister: Laura (Tony) Irvin, Burlington, Iowa, 1 brother: Ernest (Tabitha) Haines, Macomb, several nieces and nephews along with 4 great nieces and 1 great nephew.

Seth was preceded in death by his dad: Dwight Haines, 1 brother: Otis Haines, and 1 sister in law: Diana Bundy.

Seth loved the outdoors, he enjoyed hunting, spending time on the river with his friends, watching the St. Louis Cardinals and the San Francisco 49ers.  He was a member of the Bethel Baptist Church, La Harpe Fire Department for the past 13 years.  He worked for C N H Case in Burlington, Iowa, for the past 20 years.  Most of all Seth loved the time he spent with his family.

Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M. Friday, January 24, 2025, at the Jones Funeral Chapel with Pastor Gunther Weaver.  Burial will follow the services at Bethel Cemetery.  Visitation with the family will be from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. Thursday at the funeral home.  Friends may view and sign the register book a the funeral home from 8:30 A.M. to 7:00 P.M.
