Scott A. Kitch 43 of Colchester, IL passed away at his home on February 5, 2021. He was born on June 17, 1977 in Macomb to Randy Kitch (Dee Sallee) of Littleton and Debbie Kitch of Colchester; they survive.
He married the love of his life Sarah on January 9,2021, she survives.
Also surviving are his four stepchildren Donovan and Jonothan Nelson of Colchester, IL, Tanner and Skyler Walls of Littleton, IL, one grandson Braxton Walls of Littleton, IL, two sisters Heather (James) Petty of Colchester,IL and Mindy (Travis) Johnson of Springfield, IL, 4 nephews Riley, Denver, Dallas and Tyler, 1 niece Belle, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Preceding him in death were his grandparents Delbert and Josephine Hignight of Macomb, IL and Don and Maxine Kitch of Industry, IL.
Scott worked at NTN Bower for 22 years as operator setup in Race Grind where he made many great friends. He resided most of his life in the Industry area and recently moved to Colchester.
Those who knew Scott knew he loved bowling, 4wheeler riding and racing. He raced for 31 years starting in go karts in 1990 then moving on to 4 cyl and then to modified race cars. He raced at many different tracks over the years but most of his racing career was at Macomb Speedway.
Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, February 10, 2021, at Jones Mortuary in Colchester with Rev. Jim Clayton. Burial will follow the services at Mt. Auburn Cemetery in Colchester. Visitation with the family will be from 5:00 P.M to 7:00 P.M. Tuesday, February 9, 2021, at the funeral home. Friends may view and sign the register book at the funeral home after 8:30 A.M. Tuesday.
