Sawyer Dalton Bloomfield age 29 of Colchester, died, Monday, May 20, 2024, in Colchester. He was born October 14, 1994, in Galesburg, Illinois.
Surviving to mourn his passing are his parents, Kevin and Lisa Bloomfield, and Jennifer and Jason Sullivan, all of Colchester, 2 brothers: Dawson and Rowan Sullivan, Colchester, grandparents: Conrad and Patricia Bloomfield, grandmother, Cynthia Greer, Rushville, grandfather, Randall Greer, Rushville, grandparents: Cristy and Scott Hainline, Pensacola, Florida, grandfather, Steve Beck, Colchester, grandparents, Patrick and Terri Sullivan, Colchester. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Sawyer was preceded in death by his sister: Reagan Bloomfield.
Sawyer worked for the family business, Sullivan Construction in Colchester. He loved the outdoors, fishing, hunting, camping, and target shooting. He was truly an outdoorsman. When indoors, he enjoyed watching movies and could recite many famous movie clips by heart. He also enjoyed playing video games, especially Xbox. Sawyer was a walking encyclopedia when it came to the history of pirates, Star Wars, and different types of guns and ammo. He had a heart of gold and loved to have a good time with his family and friends. Sawyer never left his family without saying “I Love You”
Graveside service will be 11:00 A.M. Saturday, May 25, 2024, at Mt. Auburn Cemetery in Colchester, with Rev. Jim Clayton. Visitation with the family will be 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. Friday, May 24, 2024, at the Jones Mortuary in Colchester. Friends may view and sign the register book at the funeral home after 8:30 A.M. Friday. Memorial is to Colchester Summer Ball Program.
