Roger L. Clark

Roger L. Clark age 77 of Plymouth, Illinois, passed away Wednesday, July 11, 2018, at Memorial Hospital in Carthage, Illinois. He was born February 20, 1941 in Lamoine Township, McDonough County, to Newell and Bernice Lester Clark. Roger was united in marriage in Carthage on June 8, 1960, to Lynda McCracken.
Surviving to mourn his passing are his Wife of 58 years Lynda Clark, 1 Son: Tim (Stacy) Clark, Macomb, 3 Grandchildren: Kallie Jo Clayton, Britta Clark, Austin Clark, 2 Great Grandchildren: Veronica Dillman, Bruce Dillman, 2 Brothers: Richard (Helen) Clark, Colchester, Stanley (Paula) Clark, Plymouth, 1 Sister: Nadene Hoing, Macomb, and many Nieces, Nephews and cousins.
Roger was preceded in death by his parents, 2 Brothers: Gerald Clark and Larry Clark.
Roger was a lifetime farmer, he had worked at Haeger Pottery in Macomb and retired after 16 years from Yetter Manufacturing in Colchester. He loved to go fishing and deer hunting. He enjoyed his old cars and going to car shows with the love of his life Lynda and taking rides in the cars around the area. Roger’s greatest joy came from the time he spent with his family.
Cremation rites have been accorded. No services will be held. Memorial to St. Jude Children's Hospital can be sent or dropped off to the Jones Mortuary in Colchester Box 352, Colchester, 62326. Condolences may be expressed to the family at jonesmortuaryfh.com
