Robert Joseph Heitmeier

Robert Joseph Heitmeier age 59 of Macomb, passed away at his home in Macomb, on Thursday, September 14, 2023.  He was born November 30, 1963, in Burlington, Iowa, to Robert and Clara Belt Heitmeier.  They both preceded him in death along with 2 brothers: David Lee Heitmeier and Bill Heitmeier.

Surviving to mourn his passing are 2 sisters: Doretta Sue Lawson, Macomb, Joni R. Steele, Macomb, and several nieces and nephews.

Robert enjoyed bow hunting, fishing, camping, anything that involved being outdoors.  He also loved a good pot of coffee, helping out his family with projects. Most of all he loved to spend time with his family and friends.

Cremation rites have been accorded.  Celebration of life service will be 1:00 P.M. Saturday, September 23, 2023, at the Jones Mortuary in Colchester, with Rev. Doug Kuster.  Burial of the ashes will take place at a later date.  Memorial is to the family to help with expenses.  Condolences and memories can be expressed to the family at jonesmortuaryfh.com.
