Ray Watters

Ray Watters, 67 years old of Colchester, IL, passed away Friday, June 27, 2025, at OSF in Peoria, IL. Ray was born November 21, 1957, in Wyckoff, New Jersey to Raymond and Alice Watters. Ray was united in marriage to Sandra Vanni in Florida.

Surviving to mourn his passing is his wife Sandra Watters, of Colchester, 3 sons: Joshua Watters, Colchester, Chris (Jamie) Watters, New York, RJ Watters, South Carolina, 1 daughter: Jen (Dan) Snode, Englewood, Florida, 5 grandchildren: Kimberlynn Watters, Shawn Watters, Allie Snode, Dani Snode, Kaydi Snode, 1 brother: Keith Watters, 2 sisters: Cheryl Watters, and Kim Trost.

Ray was preceded in death by his parents, and 1 son: Michael Watters.

Ray was an honest man who loved motorcycles, Rock and Roll music, fishing on boats, building cars, racing quarter mile track, and he enjoyed watching races. Ray was very kind hearted and jovial, he loved to sit around and visit with people, which made everyone feel very happy. Most of all he loved his family, kids, and grandkids.

A Celebration of Life Picnic will be held July 12, 2025 at the Argyle Pioneer Pavilion at 11:00 A.M. Jones Funeral Chapel in Colchester is handling arrangements.  Memorials are to the family of Ray Watters. Condolences and memories can be expressed to the family at jonesmortuaryfh.com.
