Peggy L. Mason age 61 of Macomb, passed away with her family at her side, Friday, July 21, 2023, at Barnes Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri. She was born January 14, 1962, in Carthage to Paul and Mary Martin Inman. Peggy was united in marriage November 2, 1996, in Hannibal, Missouri, to Sam Mason.
Surviving to mourn her passing is her husband, Sam Mason, Macomb, 6 sons: Tracy (Cassidy) Mason, Keokuk, Iowa, Dalton Mason, Keokuk, Iowa, Ricky (Jennifer) McMillan, Morton, Illinois, Eric D. Peterson Jr.,, Quincy, Michael D. McMillian, Jonathon Andy Friday, Texas, 3 grandchildren: one of which is Madilynn Mason, 1 sister: Joslyn McNeil, Burlington, Iowa, and her fur baby, Jazz her black lab.
Peggy was preceded in death by her parents, 1 sister: Sandra Walker, 2 brothers: Larry Inman, and Lawrence Inman.
Peggy had been employed by Mosaic of Macomb and Bushnell as a DSP. She enjoyed word search puzzles, watching old TV shows, crocheting, collecting stuffed animals, purse’s, listening to Elvis and country music, helping with the Special Olympic’s, and Camp Courageous. She enjoyed going on road trips with Sam and Traveling, and fixing her world famous spaghetti for her family and friends. She and Sam got to take a special trip to Disney World a few years ago and loved every minute. When her son Tracy was playing baseball you would always see her at the ballpark cheering him on. Peggy and Sam both attended the Crossing in Macomb. Most of all Peggy loved all of time she spent with her family and really loved the time at the family picnics.
Funeral Services will be 11:00 A.M. Friday, July 28, 2023, at the Jones Mortuary in Colchester with Pastor Bob Tillman. Burial will follow the services at Hutchinson Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be 4:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. Thursday at the funeral home. Friends may view and sign the register book a the funeral home from 8:30 A.M. to 6:00 P.M. Thursday.
