Nika D (Krystosek) Fitzjarrald

    Nika D. Fitzjarrald age 31 of Macomb, IL, passed away Monday, November 21, 2022, at her home in Macomb. She was born December 3, 1990, in Cape Coral, Florida to Deanna Blue and Daniel Krystosek. She was united in marriage February 27, 2020, in Macomb, Illinois, to Nick Fitzjarrald.

    Nika was preceded in death by her parents. 

    She is survived by her husband Nick Fitzjarrald of Macomb, IL, and her many fur babies. 

    Nika was an active volunteer for Project Hope. She rescued many animals with her husband. Nika enjoyed reading, going on spontaneous road trips, and going out to eat with those she loved. She lived life to the fullest, but her time was best spent with her husband Nick and their many fur babies.

    Cremation rites have been accorded. Friends may view and sign the book on Monday, November, 28, from 8:30 a.m. to 7 p.m at Jones Mortuary. Visitation with the family will be held Monday, November, 28 from 5-7 p.m at Jones Mortuary in Colchester, IL. A private family graveside will be held at Bushnell Township Cemetery.
