Michael L. Rogers 58 of Colchester, passed away Thursday, May 20, 2021, at Heartland Health Care Center in Macomb. He was born September 13, 1962, in Vandalia, Illinois, to Jesse and Doris Thompson Rogers. They both preceded him in death.

Surviving to mourn his passing are 3 brothers: Carl (Ranee) Rogers, Taylor Springs, Illinois, David Rogers, Table Grove, Illinois, Roger (Sissy) Rogers, Brownstown, Illinois, 1 sister: Carolyn Rogers, Calumet City, Illinois, and several nieces and nephews.

Michael had been a over the road truck driver for many years, after his retirement, he had worked doing odd jobs in the Macomb and Colchester area. He helped out and enjoyed every minute at C.A.R.E food pantry, in Colchester. Michael enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing. He lived life to its fullest.

Cremation rites have been accorded. No services will be held. Jones Mortuary in Colchester is handling arrangements for the family.
