Maureen (Breedlove) Hamilton, age 89 of Macomb, passed away Sunday, January 31, 2021, at the Elms Nursing Home in Macomb. She was born September 20, 1931 in Peoria, Illinois to Mary Helen (Few) and John Breedlove. She was married to H. Read Kipling then W. Matt Tweedell and last to Chuck Hamilton, he survives.

Surviving to mourn her passing are 2 sons: Tim (Denise) Kipling, Fandonburgville, Matt (Vicky) Kipling, Macomb, 1 daughter in law: Kathy McCasky, 10 grandchildren: Ben (Karmyn) Kipling, Sam (Kaity) Kipling, Maggie Kipling, Nick Kipling, Ginny Kipling, Megan (Cameron) Ferguson, Daniel Amaro, Matt Wallen, Megan Wallen, Tristan Krohe, 1 great grandson: Ryan Kipling, 1 sister: Margie (Bill) Rodgers, Washington, Illinois, 1 cousin: Sarah (Dale) Ward, Houston, Texas, 1 niece Cindy (Doug) Zimmerman, 1 nephew: Jeff (Carol) Rodgers and their families.

Maureen was preceded in death by her parents, 1 son: Chris “Kip” Kipling and 1 brother in law: Bill Rodgers.

Maureen loved to travel making it most of the way around the world. She enjoyed riding her bike, playing tennis and Pickleball, going to church, fossil, rock and Indian artifact hunting, playing cards, having coffee with her girlfriends and most of all spending time with her family.

Family graveside services will be held at a later date at Bailey Cemetery rural Macomb. Jones Mortuary in Colchester is handling arrangements. Online condolence may be expressed to the family at www.jonesmortuaryfh.com. THE FAMILY WISHES ARE THAT NO FLOWERS BE SENT.
