Mary L. Bloomfield

Mary L. Bloomfield age 91 of Macomb, Illinois, passed away Monday, July 16, 2018, at her home in Macomb. She was born October 25, 1926, in Macomb to Wilber and Gladys Coakley Davidson. She was united in marriage on August 30, 1946 in Macomb, to Donald Bloomfield. He preceded her in death on September 23, 1984. She was also preceded in death by her parents, 1 Son: Donald G. Bloomfield, 2 Brothers: Jerald and Jesse Davidson, 2 Sisters: Evelyn Loring, Wilma Featherlan, and 1 Granddaughter: Melissa Moon Hickey.
Surviving to mourn her passing are 1 Daughter: Cheryl (Arden) Moon, Macomb, 3 Grandsons: Arden (Diane) Moon III, Marquette Heights, Illinois, Todd (Stephanie) Moon, Macomb, Donald (Emily Hughes) Moon, Macomb, 7 Great Grandchildren: Chandler (Kara) Moon, Cody Schisler, Austin (Katie) Moon, Jacob Moon, Joshua Moon, Hannah Moon, and Paige Moon.
Mary was a life member of the Macomb V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary. She had worked at Gold Hills Golf Club and Haeger Pottery. She loved to read, do puzzle books, play cards especially 4 point pitch, spending time with her husband and family at the cabin on the Mississippi River, and going to Branson Missouri to see shows, and spend time with her family. Mary was a true fan of George Strait, she would travel any where to see one of his shows.
Private family graveside services will be held at Mt. Auburn Cemetery in Colchester. The family will meet with friends for a Celebration of Life Supper, at 5:00 P.M. Friday, July 27, 2018, at the Macomb V.F.W.. Memorial is to the Macomb V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary. Jones Mortuary in Colchester is handleing arrangements for the family.
