Martha Myers

Martha Myers age 93 of Colchester, passed away Sunday, August 13, 2017 at Wesley Healthcare Center in Macomb. She was born May 15, 1924 in Macomb, to William and Zella Provine Barclay. For 48 years, Martha was united in marriage to John D. Myers. They started their journey together as husband and wife on, January 19, 1947, in Macomb, he preceded her in death on November 30, 1995.
Surviving to mourn her passing are 2 Sons: Donald Myers (Sue), GoodHope, Charles Myers (Anne), Macomb, 1 Daughter In Law: Christine Myers, Colchester, 4 Grandchildren: Alison Myers Jefferson (Steve), Amber Driskell (Rick), Crystal Zulauf (Josh), Jonathan Myers, 5 Great Grandchildren, and 1 Brother: Kenneth Barclay, Macomb.
Martha was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 2 Sons: Wendell Myers, Richard P. Myers, and 1 Grandson: Nicholas Myers.
Martha is a member of the Scotland Trinity Presbyterian Church, American Legion Auxiliary, and Singing Seniors. She had been a bookkeeper at Union National Bank in Macomb along with a Homemaker.
Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, August 16, 2017, at Scotland Trinity Presbyterian Church, with Pastor Gary Elg. Burial will follow the services at Mt. Auburn Cemetery in Colchester. Visitation with the family will be 9:30 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. Wednesday at the Church. Jones Mortuary in Colchester is handling arrangements.
