Margaret M. Louderman age 92 of Colchester, passed away Wednesday, December 29, 2021 at Wesley Village Health Care in Macomb. She was born June 11, 1929 in Colchester to Forrest and Iva Hilliard McFadden. On April 4, 1948, in Colchester, she was united in marriage to E. Dwight Louderman, he passed away October 25, 2008.
Surviving to mourn her passing are, 1 daughter; Luan Moss, Park Forest, Illinois, 1 daughter in law; Catherine Louderman, Colchester, 5 Grandchildren; Lorie and Chris Calbaugh, Stephanie and Matt Mencel, Stacie and Ryan Hunt, Doug and Sandi Moss, Roger and Danielle Moss, 10 Great Grandchildren; Rachel (Adam) Kerns, William Mencel, Ethan and Andrew Hunt, Beck Moss, Drew Moss, Deacon Moss, Harper Moss, Jacob and Grace Moss, 3 Step Great Grandchildren; Beau Calbaugh, Amanda (Dustin) Stephens, Christina (Cory) McDaniel, and 2 great great grandchildren.
Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 1 son: Larry Louderman, and 3 great grandchildren; Julian Scott, Eva Lynn and Michael Ryan Moss.
Margaret had worked at Krogers grocery store in Colchester, Colchester Grade School Cafeteria, Arland Hockers Grocery Store in Colchester and owned and operated Margaret Shear Magic in her home for 29 years. After she and Dwight retired in 1991, they would take their camper to Florida every winter and helped missionaries to print and bind Christian literature for EBI the Spanish Literature Division of Baptist Mid-Missions in Sebring Florida. They did this for 8 years. She was a member of the Argyle Bible Church where she served her Lord in many ways. She loved music and crocheting. She played the piano and taught her children and grandchildren many songs. She sang in the church choir and with a group of ladies called the Joy Belles. A highlight was when she was chosen from the audience at the Sunday School Convention in Peoria and sang a duet with the star singer Robbie Heiner in front on many people. Watching her family grow and succeed in life brought her great joy, and she was always there to support them.
Graveside services will be 11:00 A.M. Saturday, January 8, 2022, at Argyle Cemetery with Pastor Sam Kostreva. Friends may view and sign the register book at the Jones Mortuary from 8:30 A.M. to 6:00 P.M. Friday, January 7. Memorial is to Argyle Bible Church Missions Fund.
