Mabrane (Johnson) Burnett

Mabrane L. Burnett age 77 of Plymouth, passed away Sunday, January 21, 2024, at the Elms Nursing Home in Macomb.  She was born April 17, 1946, in New Philadelphia, Illinois, to Everett and Rosie Nolan Johnson.  She was united in marriage in Havana, Illinois to Edward Burnett, he preceded her in death May 30, 2018.

Mabrane is survived by her son; Ronald (Glenda) Fitch, Texas, 2 grandchildren: Autumn Alford, and Karen Fitch,  6 great grandchildren: Ladasha Thompson, Ciara Chavex, Brianna Chavez, Lele Mathis, Cameron Alford, Jonathan Mathis. 3 brothers: Gene (Doris) Johnson, Texas, Ernest Johnson, Plymouth, Rodney Johnson, Oklahoma, 3 sisters: Judy (Richard) McFarland, Good Hope, Illinois, Patricia (Robert) Canavit, Plymouth, Carol Johnson, Plymouth. Mabrane spent her life caring for her family.

She was preceded in death by her Parents, Husband, and 1 brother: James Johnson.

Graveside services will be 1:00 P.M. Thursday, January 25, 2024, at Blackburn Cemetery in Brooklyn, Illinois.  Jones Mortuary in Colchester is handling arrangements. Condolences and memories can be expressed to the family at jonesmortuaryfh.com.
