Linda Lou (Zimmerman) McHone-Fowler

Linda Lou McHone-Fowler  age 83 of Macomb, passed away Wednesday, July 5, 2023, at the Elms Nursing Home in Macomb.  She was born to Marion and Lucille Zimmerman on December 19, 1939, at Rural LaHarpe, Illinois.

Linda had an older brother Larry who weighed less than 2 pounds when he was born but lived a long life with his wife Roxie (Powell) and 5 children.  They are both deceased.  She had a sister; Sharon Konkler now deceased.  Linda was also preceded in death by her daughter: Lynette McHone, son: Mike McHone, step son; Richard Fowler and second husband: Keros “Sandy” Fowler.

Surviving to mourn her passing are her sister: Sandra (Sandy) Ham, Macomb, Linda’s little brother; Jerry (Michelle) Zimmerman, Roseville, her children: Rick (Robin) McHone, Plymouth, Paul (Carla) McHone, Industry, step children:  Kary (Patti) Fowler, Plymouth, Patty (David) Rouse, Colchester, Pam (Gerry) Sheltrown, Mattawan, Michigan, a special friend that called her mom, Beverly Abernathy, 8 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, many step grandchildren and many step great grandchildren, step daughter in law; Georgia Fowler

Linda attended Astoria Schools until she was a Junior then went to Colchester High School, graduation with the Class of 1957.  She married Danny McHone in 1958, they later divorced.  She married Keros Fowler in 2006.

Funeral service will be 7:00 P.M. Monday, July 10, 2023, at the Jones Mortuary in Colchester with Rev. Rex Featherlin.  Visitation with the family will be from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. Monday at the funeral home.  Burial will be at 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, July 11, 2023, at Blackburn Cemetery, Brooklyn, Illinois.  Friends may view and sign the register book at the funeral home after 8:30 A.M.
