Lester Allen Hodges

Lester Allen Hodges 81 of Good Hope, Illinois, passed away Monday, July 8, 2024, at the Elms Nursing Home in Macomb.  He was born October 9, 1942, in Macomb to Donald and Nellie Hodges.  They preceded him in death along with one brother: Neil Hodges.

Surviving to mourn his passing is a friend, Janice McCoy, Macomb.

Allen was a member of the Fandon Christian Church.  He enjoyed watching the Wheel of Fortune and listening to County Music.  He helped his parents care for the house and enjoyed cooking.

Cremation rites have been accorded.  Private graveside services will be 10:30 A.M. Tuesday, July 16, 2024,  at Oakwood Cemetery in Macomb, with Pastor Aaron Baker.  Jones Mortuary in Colchester is handling arrangements.
