Leonard Kevin Miller

Leonard Kevin Miller age 60 of Macomb, passed away Sunday, September 1, 2024, at his home in Macomb.  He was born November 29, 1963 in Macomb, to Walter and Marilyn R. Cain Miller.

Leonard is survived by his mother Marilyn Wingo, Macomb, 1 daughter: Trista Miller, Macomb, Illinois, 5 grandchildren: Dakoda Schoonover, Chase Schoonover, Drake Taber, Decklan Schoonover, Tamzyn Hammond, 4 sisters: Kelly Shirley, Bremerton, Washington, Darlene (Rick) Goover, Canton, Illinois, Wannetta (John) McMurl, Colchester, Illinois, Sandi Burton, Macomb, Illinois, 3 brothers: Keith (Terri) Miller, Illinois, Fabian Wingo, Macomb, Illinois, Marty Wingo, Canton, Illinois, along with many other family and friends.

Leonard was preceded in death by his father: Walter Miller, step father: Marty Wingo, and son: Brian Abernathy.

Leonard was a active member of the Macomb Crossing Church, were he served in many areas of the church, volunteering with the recovery program, helping with outreach programs to do construction projects for people in the area and active member of a mens church group.  He had worked at Pella in Macomb and was a handyman and carpenter.  The time he spent with his daughter and grandchildren was his main enjoyment in his life.  He especially loved to go to Argyle Lake State Park with his grandkids.

Memorial services will be 6:30 P.M. Tuesday, September 17, 2024, at the Jones Mortuary in Colchester with Pastor Kaleb Greenlief.  The family has asked that everyone come dressed casual in Leonards favorite color blue.  Visitation with the family will be from 5:30 to 6:30 P.M. Tuesday before the services.  Friends may sign the register book at the funeral home from 8:30 A.M. to 6:30 P.M.
