Larry D. "Zeke" Zimmerman

Larry D. “Zeke” Zimmerman age 78 of Augusta, Illinois, passed away Monday, March 21, 2016, at Blessing Hospital in Quincy, Illinois. He was born January 12, 1938 in La Harpe, Illinois to Marion and Lucille Lefler Zimmerman. He was united in marriage on October 1, 1960, in Macomb, to Roxie Powell.
Surviving to mourn his passing are his Wife: Roxie of Augusta, 3 Sons: Ed of Montgomery, Texas, Dennis of Augusta, Illinois, Dale and Amy of Beardstown, Illinois, 2 Daughters: Cindy and Shawn Hamilton, Augusta, Illinois, Tammy and Nick Cook, Camdenton, Missouri, 9 Grandchildren, 4 Great Grandchildren, 1 Brother: Jerry Michelle Zimmerman, Roseville, Illinois, 3 Sisters: Linda McHone Fowler, Macomb, Illinois, Sandy Hamm, Industry, Illinois, Sharon Konkler, Macomb, Illinois.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents, 1 Grandson: Derrick and 1 Aunt: Vera Barton.
Larry attended Bethel Baptist Church, and had been employed by Heinfold Hog Market.
Funeral services are 1:00 P.M. Friday, March 25, 2016, at Jones Mortuary, in Colchester with Pastor Jim Richardson. Burial will follow the services at Bethel Cemetery, rural Fandon. Visitation with the family will be from 12 Noon to 1:00 P.M. Friday, March 25, 2016 at the Funeral Home. Memorial is to the Back pack program.
