L. Rosalie (Heaton) Bainter

    L. Rosalie Bainter age 83 of Macomb, passed away Saturday, November 27, 2021, at Country View Care Center.  She was born December 21, 1937, in rural Schuyler County, to Amos and Lois Kelley Heaton, Lois passed away at a young age and Amos remarried Fredricka Heaton and she helped raise Rosalie.  She was united in marriage to Harold Leon Parker Sr, who preceded her in death at a very young age, and later married Frank Bainter on March 6, 1965, he also preceded her in death on May 31, 1990.

    Surviving to mourn her passing are 1 daughter; Janette (Michael) Norris, LaHarpe, 1 daughter in law: Lauren Bainter, 5 grandchildren: Brandon (Christine) Norris, Jake Paul, Donnie Tears, Tom (Vivi) Jorgenson, Jette (John) Brasher, 10 great grandchildren, 2 brothers: Richard Heaton, Meredith (Leoky) Heaton, and many nieces and nephews.

    Rosalie was preceded in death by her parents: Amos Heaton, Lois Kelley Heaton, and Fredricka Heaton, both husbands, 1 daughter: Deanne Bainter, 1 son: Harold L. (Hank) Bainter, 1 sister: Audrey McHenry, and 2 brothers: Ivan (Bud) Heaton, Phil Heaton.

    Rosalie loved the outdoors, she enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, dancing, playing cards, bingo, listening to blue grass and country music.  She was a member of the Colchester United Methodist Church, United Methodist Women.  Rosalie enjoyed the fellowship of her friends at Lafayette Square.  She would spend hours hand quilting, for her family.  Rosalie had worked with her husband at Bainter Electric and later became a beautician and opened a shop in Naples, Florida, when she and Frank moved down there.  When she came back to Illinois she opened a shop in her home in Colchester.  Rosalie’s family was her life, she loved every second she got to have them around her and she would be first to help when help was needed.

    Graveside services will be 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, December 1, 2021, at Mt. Auburn Cemetery in Colchester, with Rev. Jim Clayton.  Visitation with the family will be 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. Tuesday at the Jones Mortuary in Colchester.  Friends may view and sign the register book at the funeral home after 8:30 A.M. Tuesday.  Memorial is to Traditions Hospice.
