Keith L. Haley age 66 of Springfield, Illinois formerly of Macomb, passed away Tuesday, February 27, 2018, at Memorial Medical Center, in Springfield, Illinois. He was born October 15, 1951 in Macomb, to James and Nettie Arnold Haley. Keith was united in marriage in 1975 in Bowen to Kathy Peterson. He was then united in marriage in 1983 in Texas to Linda McDade.
Surviving to mourn his passing are both wives from his past marriages, 1 Son: James Haley Tyler, Texas, 2 Daughters: Keisha Haley, Arkansas, Jessica Haley, Arkansas, 4 Grandchildren, 5 Sisters: Carolyn ( Marian) Knowles, Colchester, Sue Hurst, Colchester, Elaine (Don) Lane, Hartselle, Alabama, Lois (Bob) Damron,Lawrenceville, Georgia, Diane Whetsell, Cross, South Carolina, and several Nieces, Nephews and Cousins.
Keith was preceded in death by his parents, 2 Brothers: John and Bob Haley, 3 Sisters: Phyllis Hershburger, Jeri Simpson and Sara Judd.
Keith was a Carpenter in construction. He served his country in the United States Navy from 1969 to 1971. He had attended the Augusta Assembly of God Church. Keith was a Chicago Bears fan and loved to watch sports. he made wire jewelry, and collected coins. Most of all he loved to cook and cookout for his family and friends.
Graveside services will be 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, March 7, 2018, at Oakwood Cemetery in Macomb with Revs Jerry and Patsy Spratt. Military service will he held at the grave by the Macomb V.F.W. and Macomb American Legion. Visitation with the family will be from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. Tuesday, March 6, 2018, at the Jones Mortuary in Colchester. Friends may view and sign the register book at the funeral home after 9:00 A.M. Tuesday. Memorial is the family of Keith.
