Kandyce S Enright

Kandyce S. Enright age 73 of Tennessee, Illinois, passed away, February 26, 2024, at Blessing Hospital in Quincy.  She was born May 21, 1950, in Ft. Madison, Iowa, to Mutt and Katherine Enright, both of her parents preceded her in death.

Surviving to mourn her passing is a very special friend, Sue and Danny Bartlett, Tennessee, and Sue and Danny’s daughter Kathryn, that call Kandyce “Nana”.

Kandyce had been a social worker in Hancock County before she started her 20 plus year career as an Academic Advisor at Western Illinois University.  She enjoyed helping the students, and watching them become college graduates.  After she retired form Western, Kandyce opened Miss Kitty’s Quilt Shop in Macomb.  She enjoyed sharing her love of quilting with friends. Kandyce also enjoyed her pets.  Most of all Kandyce loved the Lord.

Cremation rites have been accorded.  No services are scheduled at this time.  Jones Mortuary in Colchester is handling arrangements.  Condolences and memories can be expressed to the family at jonesmortuaryfh.com.
