Judy (Roberts) Murfin

Judy Murfin age 83 of Macomb, formerly of Bushnell, passed away Monday, November 3, 2025  at the Elms Nursing home in Macomb.  She was born December 21,1941, in Colchester to Glenn and Alta Hodges Roberts. Judy was united in marriage June 11, 1960, in Macomb, to Keith Murfin. He preceded her in death on July 31, 2017.

Those left to cherish her memory are, 1 Son: Brad (Luzvie) Murfin, Vacaville, Calif., 3 Daughters: Kelly (Britt) Raymond , Yellville, Ark., Laura (Brian) Malott, Bushnell, Holly (Kirk) Luna, Minooka, Illinois, 7 Grandchildren: Matthew (Lindsay) Raymond, Madison, Wisconsin, Elliott (Megan) Malott, Fort Myers Florida, Chase Malott, Bushnell, Illinois, Cyndi (Kevin) Anderson Newlyn, Flippin, Arkansas, Brad Murfin Jr., Vacaville, California, Tommy Luna, Rangel (Alexis) Luna, Minooka, Illinois, 3 Great Grandchildren: Deserae Marie Hamilton, Cole Ruger Anderson, Emmeline Grace and Vivian Ruby Raymond, 1 Brother: Doc Roberts, Macomb, Illinois.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 57 years, Keith E. Murfin, 3 sisters, and 1 brother.

Judy cared for her home and family, taking care of their every need. She was very active in the Bushnell Assembly of God Church, where she loved to sing and worship her Lord. She loved to raise and care for her flower gardens, and she also was a very avid reader. Most of all Judy loved her family and her Lord.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Thursday, November  6, 2025 at Mt. Auburn Cemetery in Colchester, with Rev. Jim Clayton.  Jones Mortuary in Colchester is assisting the family with arrangements.  Online Condolences and Memories may be expressed to the family at jonesmortuaryfh.com
