Jeff L. Cale

Jeff L. Cale age 65 of Colchester, passed away Friday, November 10, 2023, at McDonough District Hospital in Macomb.  He was born March 10, 1958, in Kewanee, Illinois, to Edward and Vivian Abernathy Cale.  Jeff was united in marriage March 18, 1978 in Macomb, to Debbie Bolen.

Surviving to mourn his passing is his wife of 45 years, Debbie Cale, Colchester, Sister Tammi (Troy) Roberts, Whitewater, Missouri, 1 aunt: Ginger Abernathy, Macomb, sister in law Donna Akers, Colchester and brother in law: Kendall Bolen, Colchester, along with several nieces and nephews.

Jeff was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, and many aunts and uncles.

Jeff had worked at Midwest Control in Bushnell, then at NTN Bower for 14 years before retiring.  He was a past member of the Bushnell Fire Department.  Avid collector of guns and knives.  He enjoyed hunting and fishing, he and Debbie traveled around the area setting up a flea market stand for over 25 years.

Graveside services will be 1:30 P.M. Wednesday, November 15, 2023, at Mt. Auburn Cemetery in Colchester, with Pastor Darren Funk.  Visitation with the family will be 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. Tuesday, November 14, 2023, at the Jones Mortuary.  Friends may view and sign the register book at the funeral home after 8:30 A.M. Tuesday, then from 8:30 A.M. to 11:00 A.M.
