James Chance Obituary

James Lynn Chance age 71 of Quincy, Illinois, formerly of Blandinsville, passed away, Tuesday, April 25, 2017, at the Illinois Veterans Home in Quincy. He was born August 29, 1945 in Macomb to Carl and Veola McCullum Chance.
Surviving to mourn his passing are 2 Nieces: Debra DeCounter, Melanie Ball, 2 Nephews: Greg Chance, Mike Ball, 1 Sister In Law: Sara Chance, and several Great Nieces and Nephews.
Lynn was preceded in death by his parents, 1 Brother: Ronald Chance, 1 Sister: Karlean Ball, 1 Sister In Law: Janice Chance, and 1 Brother In Law: Jack Ball.
Lynn served his country in the United States Air Force for 1966 to 1970, he was stationed in Thailand for a period of time. He was a member of the Farm Bureau, the Blandinsville American Legion. He loved the time he spent with his friends playing cards and having a good time. He also farmed with his Dad.
Graveside services will be 1:00 P.M. Thursday, April 27, 2017, at Mt. Auburn Cemetery in Colchester. Military rites at the grave by the Macomb American Legion and the Macomb V.F.W.. Friends may view and sign the register book at the Jones Mortuary in Colchester, from 1:00 P.M to 5:00 P.M. Wednesday and from 8:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. Thursday. Memorial is to the Blandinsville Veterans Memorial. Condolences may be expressed to the family at jonesmortuaryfh.com
