Jack L. Duncan, age 90 of Plymouth passed away at 10:23 P.M Tuesday, April 22, 2025, at Southeast Regional Hospice in Burlington, Iowa. He was born July 22, 1934, to Leo and Vera Payne Duncan. Jack was united in marriage February 18, 1961, at the Mt Pleasant Church near Bentley, to Peggy White, she preceded him in death in 1992.
Jack is survived by 2 sons: Gary (Erica Todd) Duncan, Tennessee, and Michael (Julie) Duncan, Chatham, Illinois, 4 grandchildren: Jamie Duncan, Matt Duncan, Andrew (Kelsea) Duncan, Ryan Duncan, 1 great grandchild: Bristol Duncan, and 1 brother: Dick Duncan, San Diego, California.
Jack was preceded in death by his parents, wife, and 1 brother, Marlin Duncan.
Jack was a life long farmer. He loved many things including his cats and music of the 1950’s and 60’s. Jack liked to work on cars, go to car shows, and tractor pulls. He served our country by being in the U.S Army. His favorite saying was “Over and Out”.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M, Wednesday, April 30, 2025, at Jones Funeral Chapel in Colchester, with Rev. Jim Clayton. Burial with full military rites by the Macomb V.F.W and Macomb American Legion will follow the services at Hills Grove Cemetery in Tennessee. Visitation with the family will be from 5:00 P.M to 7:00 P.M, Tuesday, April 29, 2025, at Jones Funeral Chapel in Colchester. Friends may view and sign the book at the funeral home Tuesday, April 29, 2025, from 8:30 A.M to 7:00 P.M. Memorial is to the McDonough County Animal Shelter.
