Howard E. Stigall Jr.

Howard (Butch) Stigall Jr. age 76 of Macomb, passed away at McDonough District Hospital, April 5, 2024, at 4:35 P.M. with his wife of 27 years ,  his son and wife by his side.  He was born January 1, 1948, in Ashland, Illinois, to Howard and Carmeletta (Bradshaw) Stigall.  He was raised and went to school in Ashland.  Howard was united in marriage on October 26, 1996 in Macomb, to Edna Fowler.

Howard is survived by his wife Edna of Macomb, son: Shawn and Daphne of Industry, daughters: Bridget Pierce and Tonya Rossman of Florida, grandchildren: Keegan, Angelina, Austin, Kenni, Levi, Zachary, T yler, Nikayla, and many nieces, nephews to whom he enjoyed giving a hard time.  Also surviving is his sister: Sally Arnoldi of South Roxana, Illinois, adopted grandson: Jermey, good friend Allen and his fur babies: Gabby and Maggie at home.

Howard was preceded in death by his brother: John and sister: Dorothy.

Howard was an over the road truck driver for many years for different companies, ending his driving career with Jeff Penderous Trucking.  He was a avid racing fan and often got together with family and friends either going to the race or watching it on T.V..  He enjoyed eating with close family and fiends or simple get together in the back yard or getting a game of card together.  Up side down pizza in the oven to be enjoyed by all.

Butch was a simple man who enjoyed helping other when he could, always wanting to lend a helping hand.  The highlight of his day was enjoying his grandkids

Cremation rites have been accorded.  The family and friends will gather for a dinner in his memory at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, May 18, 2024 at the Macomb V.F.W. with Military Rites by the Macomb V.F.W. and Macomb American Legion.  Jones Mortuary in Colchester, is assisting the family with arrangements.
