Helen Hodges Obituary

Helen E. Hodges age 89 of Macomb, passed away Monday, January 23, 2017, at Wesley Village Health Care Center in Macomb. She was born February 28, 1927 in Macomb, to Kenneth and Ida Mary Gamage Egerton. Helen was united in marriage on April 1, 1947 to James R. Hodges. He preceded her in death on November 10, 1975, she was also preceded in death by her parents
Surviving to mourn her passing are 3 Sons; J. Rodney ( Sue Ellen) Hodges, Augusta, Illinois, Curtis Hodges, LaHarpe, Illinois, Kevin Hodges, Blandinsville, Illinois, 1 Daughter: Linda (Wayne) Wayland Colla, Nevada, 10 Grandchildren, 12 Great Grandchildren, 2 Brothers: John Egerton, Florida and James A. Egerton, Burlington, Iowa.
Helen was a homemaker. Most of all she loved her family especially her grandchildren.
Graveside services will be 10:00 A.M. Saturday, January 28, 2017, at Glade City Cemetery in Blandinsville, with Rev. Lee Unger. Cremation rites have been accorded. Memorial is to Wesley Village Health Care. Jones Mortuary in Colchester is handling arrangements. Condolences may be expressed to the family at jonesmortuaryfh.com
