Helen J. France, age 88 of Fishers, Indiana, formerly of Tennessee, Illinois, passed away Friday, November 2, 2018, in Indianapolis, Indiana. Helen was born May 12, 1930, in Macomb to William and Irene (Bowles) Knoedler. She was united in marriage to Merle D. France April 1, 1951, in San Diego, he survives of Fishers, Indiana.
Surviving to mourn her passing are her Husband of 67 years, Merle France, 1 Son: Randall (Randy) France, 2 Grandchildren: Matthew W. France, Mitchell D. France, 2 Great Grandchildren: Finley J. France, Maverick A. France.
Helen was preceded in death by her parents.
She had been a Telephone Operator in Colchester in her early years and Secretary in the English Department at WIU in later years.
Graveside services will be 11:00 A.M. Saturday, November 10, 2018, at Hillsgrove Cemetery, Tennessee, Illinois, with Rev. Lee Unger. Visitation with the family will be 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. Friday November 9, 2018, at Jones Mortuary, Colchester
