Goldie R. Depoy age 84 of Bardolph, Illinois, passed away at 7:20 A.M. Wednesday, May 27, 2015, at the home of her daughter in Bardolph. She was born May 29, 1930 in Macomb, Illinois to Glen and Gladys Bryan Griffith.
She was united in marriage on October 22, 1947, in Bushnell to, Orville L. Depoy, he preceded her in death on December 3, 2013, she was also preceded by her parents, 2 Brothers: Francis Griffith and Lyle Griffith.
Surviving to mourn his passing are 1 Son; Jerry and Carrie Depoy, Macomb, 2 Daughters: Rosa and Ronald McCoy, Rockport, Texas and Anna and Mike Arnold, Bardolph, 8 Grandchildren: Anita Gooden, Rockport, Texas, Rhonda Titchnell, Rockport Texas, Anthony Depoy, Macomb, Paul Depoy, Winamac, Ind., Cassidy Depoy, Macomb, Grant Depoy, Macomb, Crystal Laktas, Keokuk, Iowa, Scott Laktas, Bardolph, 10 Great Grandchildren, 8 Great Great Grandchildren and 2 Sisters: Glenna Curtis, St. Augustine, Illinois, Evelyn and Jerry Quigle, LaHarpe, Illinois, 1 Brother: Harold and Vilia Griffeth, Las Vegas, Nevada.
Goldie was a member of the Macomb Eagles Aux. and, the Fandon Christian Church. She worked for the Macomb School District for 10 years as a Cook at the High School.
Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M. Saturday, May 30, 2015, at the Jones Mortuary in Colchester with Rev. Lee Unger. Burial will follow the services at Mt. Auburn Cemetery in Colchester. Visitation with the family will be 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Friday, May 29, 2015, at the funeral home. Friends may view and sign the register book at the funeral home after 11:00 A.M.
