Geri M (Flynn) Kleinkopf

Geri Kleinkopf age 58 of Colchester, passed away with her family at her side, Wednesday, August 21, 2024, at St. Johns Hospital in Springfield, Illinois.  She was born September 12, 1965 in Macomb, to Gary and Karen Hornecker Flynn.  They both preceded her in death.  Geri was united in marriage to Kevin Kleinkopf on July 17, 2017, in Colchester.

Surviving to mourn her passing is her husband Kevin Kleinkopf Colchester. 5 Children: Eric Blackert, Milwaukee, Wisconsin,  Beau Schneider, Coal Valley, Illinois, AJ (Justin) Duncan, Aurora, Colorado, Cindy (Jordan) Stone, Orlando, Florida, Sonya Kleinkopf, Macomb, Illinois, 1 brother: Kelly Flynn, Colchester, her soul sister: Becky (Walt) Dorethy, Colchester, along with several nieces, nephews, other loving  family and friends, and her dog that she loved very much Daisy.

Geri worked for the Department of Rehabilitation with the State of Illinois.  She loved to shop and was an expert at finding deals, especially when it came to her collection of purses, listening to prince, decorating for Halloween which was her favorite holiday, snuggling with her grinch blanket, and cooking and baking for family and friends.  Geri enjoyed Mustang trips with Kevin and going to Los Charros to eat and have a margarita.  Geri loved kids and she always had a smile that would light up the whole room she was in. Most of all Geri loved her family and friends and would do anything to help.

Graveside services will be 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, August 27, 2024, at Argyle Cemetery, with Pastor Rick Goettsche.  Visitation with the family will be from  5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. Sunday, August 25, 2024, at the Jones Mortuary in Colchester.  Friends may sign the register book at the funeral home from 8:30 A.M. to 7:00 P.M.
