Gail A. (Gerlich) Dahlstrom

Gail A. (Gerlich) Dahlstrom age 75 of Macomb, passed away Friday December 13, 2024, at the Countryside Care Center in Macomb.  She was born November 3, 1949 in Rock Island, Illinois to Delbert and Alice Kurth Gerlich. She was preceded in death by both of her parents.

Gail is survived by 1 daughter: Denise (Shaun) Gregory, Fredericksburg, Virginia, 7 grandchildren: Tara Gregory, Mitchell Gregory, Grant (Kelsey) Anderson-Gregory, Hayley Gregory, Keith Gregory, Ryan Gregory, and Dallin Gregory, 1 great grandson, 1 brother: Gregg (Kathy) Gerlich, Coal Valley, Illinois, 3 sisters: Gloria (Dan) Garrett, Waterloo, South Carolina, Gina Brandmeyer, Davenport, Iowa, and Glenna (Rox) Ommen, East Moline, Illinois.

Gail had worked as a legal secretary many years, later worked as a Correctional Officer at the Stateville Prison, Wackenthut Corporation and the United States Marshalls both as a security guard.

Cremation rites have been accorded. Jones Funeral Chapel in Colchester is handling arrangements.  A memorial service will be held at a later date. Condolences and memories can be expressed to the family at jonesmortuaryfh.com.
