Elsie Louise Wetzel

Elsie L. Wetzel, age 96 of Bloomington, IL, passed away Wednesday, February 24, 2021. She was born July 15, 1924 to Emanuel and Dovie Coyner Seymour. She was united in marriage to William A. Wetzel. He preceded her in death February 2, 1993.

Surviving to mourn her passing are 1 daughter: Linda (Ed) Graham, Bloomington, IL; 2 sons: Roger (Jackie) Wetzel, Kemmerer, Wyoming and Ronald (Donna) Wetzel, Colchester, IL. and 14 Grandchildren, many Great Grandchildren, Great Great Grandchildren, and one sister in Carthage, Illinois.

Elsie was preceded in death by her parents, husband William Wetzel, two sisters, her eldest son Lewis and her youngest son, Phillip and one great granddaughter.

Elsie loved her family dearly. She and her husband Bill enjoyed many years camping and traveling. She enjoyed baking and sharing it with family and friends.

Cremation rites have been accorded. Private family services will be held at a later date. Jones Mortuary in Colchester is handling arrangements. Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice and sent to Jones Mortuary, box 352, Colchester, Illinois, 62326.
