Eleanor N. Long

Eleanor N. Long age 85 of Macomb, passed away Thursday, August 16, 2018 at Bickford Senior Living in Macomb. She was born January 30, 1933 in Canton, Illinois to Worley and Bertha Butler Nott. Eleanor was united in marriage August 25, 1952 in Lewistown, Illinois to Rev. Donald Long. He preceded her in death on February 15, 2013.
Surviving to mourn her passing are 2 Daughters: J.L. McCall, Adair, Illinois and Elizabeth and Kenneth Zwolak, Lansdowne, Pennsylvania, 8 Grandchildren, 8 Great Grandchildren, 1 Brother: Charles (Clara K) Nott, Lewistown, Illinois, and 1 Sister: Berta (Gary) Rohrer, Avon, Illinois.
Eleanor was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 1 Daughter; C.J. Kremer, 2 Sisters: Reta Torrance, and Janice Funk.
Eleanor had been very active in the United Methodist Women, she loved to bake, sew take walks and work outside. She loved the time she got to have her family together for a meal.
Cremation Rites have been accorded. Graveside services will be held at a much later date. Jones Mortuary in Colchester is handling arrangements for the family. Memorials are to Harbor Light Hospice or Cunningham Children’s Home and can be send to Jones Mortuary, box 352, Colchester, Illinois, 62326.
