Delores A. Hodges

Delores A. Hodges age 79 of Colchester, passed away October 22, 2016, at St. Johns Hospital in Springfield, Illinois. She was born June 12, 1937, in Macomb, to Vernon E. and Hattie Flo Powell Phelps. She was united in marriage on February 24, 1997, in Macomb, Illinois, to Charles Neil Hodges. He preceded her in death on October 22, 2008. She was also preceded in death by her parents, 2 Sisters: Leota Fitzgerald, Esther Tones and 2 Brothers: Keith Phelps and Russell Phelps.
Surviving to mourn her passing are 1 Sister: Irene Lantz along with several Nieces and Nephews.
Delores was a homemaker and a member of the Fandon Christian Church.
Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, October 26, 2016, at the Jones Mortuary in Colchester with Rev. Aaron Baker. Burial will follow services at Mt. Auburn Cemetery in Colchester. Visitation with the family will be 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. Tuesday at the Funeral Home. Friends may view and sign the register book at the funeral home after 9:00 A.M. Tuesday.
