Debra Jean McMurl

Debra J. McMurl age 58 of Macomb, passed away Thursday, April 5, 2024, at her home in Macomb.  She was born August 10, 1965, in Rushville, Illinois, to John and Joan Stevenson McMurl.

Surviving to mourn her passing is 1 son: Christopher Walton, Macomb, 1 daughter: Krystal Walton, Macomb, 1 grandchild: Kyclen Spencer, 1 brother: John R. (Wannetta) McMurl, Colchester, 3 sisters: Cynthia McMurl, Monmouth, Illinois, Kathy McMurl, Colchester, Sarah (Jared) Metcalf, Colchester, and many nieces and nephews.

Debra was preceded in death by her parents 1 brother: James Robert McMurl,  and 1 niece: Faith Hamann.

Debra was a member of The Faith Tabernacle of God Church in Colchester.  She enjoyed doing crafts, reading her Bible.  She loved to sing and dance.  Most of all Debra loved her family and every moment she spent with them.

Cremation rites have been accorded. A Celebration of Life Luncheon will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, April 13, 2024, at the Colchester Senior Citizen Center.  The family asks that you bring Memories and pictures of Debra to share with everyone.  Memorial is to the family of Debra McMurl and can be sent to the family or sent to Jones Mortuary Box 352, Colchester, Illinois, 62326.  Jones Mortuary in Colchester is assisting the family with arrangements
