Debra A. Mansir

Debra A. Mansir age 70 of St. Charles, Mo., passed away Monday, January 29, 2024, at Delmar Gardens of O’Fallen, Mo.  She was born January 3, 1954, in Macomb, IL., to Keith and Mary (Strickland) Mansir.  ALS took her life.

Debra is survived by Duane (Dale) Mansir, Colchester, IL. and 2 nephews: Richard K Mansir (Jessica) Fredericksburg, VA., Alex D. Mansir (AIMEE), Salt Lake City, UT., and one niece: Sara L. Frye, Creve Coeur, IL.

She was preceded in death by her parents and 1 sister: Kaye Frye.

Private graveside services will be held, 11:00 A.M. Thursday, March 28, 2024, at Good Hope Cemetery, Good Hope, IL. with Pastor Larry Rickard.  Friends may sign the register book at the Jones Mortuary from 8:30 A.M. to 6:00 P.M. Wednesday, March 27, 2024.  Jones Mortuary in Colchester is handling arrangements.

Debra taught art in grades K thru 12 at Oakaville, IL. and St. Charles, MO.  She taught for 30 years after receiving her bachelor’s Degree from Eastern Kentucky University and Masters from Southern Illinois University.

Debra was a excellent Knitter and highly skilled in glass works.  She was a world traveler and enjoyed, Paris, France most of all.
