David Keith Parker

David Keith Parker age 68 of Tennessee, Illinois, passed away Sunday, September 10, 2023, at Macomb Post Acute Care in Macomb.  He was born March 12, 1955, in Macomb, to James Keith and Vivian Norris Parker.  They both preceded him in death along with 1 sister: Lisa Shepler.

Surviving to mourn his passing are 1 daughter: Holly Parker, Colchester, 3 grandchildren: Aalyiah Parker, Oklahoma, Dalton Settles, Colchester, Madi Frakes, Plymouth, 2 brothers: James (Marla) Parker, Colchester, Mike (Barb) Parker, Tennessee, 1 sister: Karen (John) Henson, Plymouth, along with several nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.

David was retired from the Labor Union after many years of building many of the roads that we all travel on.  He followed his dads love for working and riding all types of motorcycles, but the one he loved the most was a 1949 pan head.  He was very proud of his mom letting his friends know that she was a nurse.  He enjoyed hunting fishing, joking around with his family and friends and watching them smile and laugh.  David told his family at the end of his life journey to tell everyone, “Thank You and I Love Everyone”.

Cremation rites have been accorded.  A Celebration of Life gathering will start at 5:00 P.M. Saturday, September 23, 2023, at Netty Parkers in Industry.  Friends that can’t attended can view the pictures and sign the register book at the Jones Mortuary from 8:30 A.M. to 6:00 P.M. Friday, September 22, 2023.  Memorial is to St. Judes Children’s Hospital.  Condolences and memories can be expressed to the family at jonesmortuaryfh.com.
