Danny Ivan Self age 75 of Plymouth, formally of Centralia, passed away Sunday, May 31, 2026, at his home. He was born November 5, 1950, in Centralia to Thomas and Helen Newman Self. He was united in marriage to Anna Brink Foutch, on March 1, 1980. She preceded him in death November 2, 2020.
Surviving to mourn his passing is his fiancee Sharon Lewis of Plymouth, 1 daughter: Annette Worlds, Salem, IL, grandchildren: Tavonny Worlds, Kiera Worlds, and many other grandchildren and great grandchildren, 1 brother: Frank Self, and 3 sisters: Pam Scott, Dana Rawcliff, Melanie Tstsphilman.
Danny was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Helen Self, and his first wife Anna.
Danny loved fishing, camping, playing pool, listening to classic country music, and tinkering. There wasn't much he couldn't fix. He cherished every moment that he spent with his family, either on his boat, or the pontoon on Carlyle Lake. Most of all he loved all of his family and was excited about getting to start a life with Sharon, and her family.
As per his wishes, cremation rites have been accorded. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Jones Mortuary in Colchester is assisting the family with arrangements. Memories and condolences can be expressed to the family at jonesmortuaryfh.com
