Dale L (Konkler) Vail

Dale L. Vail age 66 of Colchester, passed away Sunday, November 28, 2021, at the Macomb Acute Care Center in Macomb.  She was born July 28, 1955, at Fort Smith, Arkansas, to Donald and Wanda Mordue Konkler.  She was united in marriage, August 11, 1973 in Colchester to Steven W. Vail, he preceded her in death July 31, 2021.

    Surviving to mourn her passing are 2 daughters: Beth (Michael) Capps, Macomb, Kelli Vail, Macomb, 4 grandchildren: Andrew (Mallory) Vail, Michael (Faith Switzer) Peterson, Samantha (Ryne) Nelson, Adam Vail, 2 great grandchildren: Aidan Vail, Alan Nelson, 1 sister: Kathie (Steve) Nunberg, Universal City, Texas, along with 2 sisters in law: Pat (Bill) Kitch, Canton, Suzie McCombs, Industry, along with many nieces, nephews and cousins.

    Dale was preceded in death by her mother: Wanda Konkler, and 1 sister; Debbie Konkler

    Dale was a member of St. Pauls Catholic Church in Macomb, she and her husband owned and operated Vail Printing, in Colchester and then had worked at NTN Bower in Macomb. She enjoyed sewing, baking, making cards for her familys birthdays and special events, fishing, hunting with Steve and her family.  Dale had a special sense of humor that would bring a smile or to laugh any ones face. Most of all the time she spent with her friends, family and especially her grandchildren brought her the greatest joy.

Graveside services will be 10:30 A.M. Saturday, December 11, 2021, at Mt. Auburn Cemetery in Colchester.  Visitation with the family will be from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. Friday, December 10, 2021, at the Jones Mortuary in Colchester.  Friends may sign the register book at the funeral home after 8:30 A.M.
