Connie Jo Standard

Connie Jo Standard, age 73 passed away peacefully at Courtyard Estates in Bushnell, IL on Sunday July 7th. She was born on August 4, 1945 to Glenn and Elner (Dawdy) Standard.

She lived on Fisk Street in Macomb next to them most of her life. In earlier years she was a housekeeper for Edna. They became friends and Edna moved in. Connie cared for her in her remaining years. She enjoyed walking her dog Roxie and walking to McDonald’s for a cheeseburger and shake. She played solitaire and did many word find games. Connie lived a simple and quiet life.

Connie is survived by her sister Sherry (Standard) Wayland (Jack) of Macomb, brother Glenn Arlin Standard (Phyllis) of Arizona and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister Karen Standard and sister Marilyn (Standard) Raymond.

Graveside services will be Burial will be 10:30 A.M. Thursday, July 11, 2019, at Oakwood Cemetery in Macomb, with Chaplin Jordan Knight. Friends may sign the register book at the Jones Mortuary from 9:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. Wednesday. Online Condolences may be expressed to the family at jonesmortuaryfh.com
