Connie L. (Yocum) Kindhart

Connie L. Kindhart age 77 of Plymouth, Illinois, passed away, Saturday, May 20, 2023, at Ozark Health Care in West Plains, Missouri.  She was born March 28, 1946, in Smithfield, to Harold and Phoebe Hammond Yocum.  Connie was united in marriage, July 7, 1963, in Colchester to Ralph Kindhart, he preceded her in death on December 12, 2000.

Surviving to mourn her passing are 2 sons: Ralph E. (Sheryl) Kindhart, Plymouth, Harold A. Kindhart, Plymouth, 4 daughters: Laurie (Gene) Henry, Mountain View, Missouri, Bernice Grisham, Mountain View, Missouri, Cindy (Chris Ussery) Kindhart, Plymouth, Arlene J. (Cory Erickson) Novak, Tennessee, 12 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren with 2 more on the way, 2 brothers: Leslie (Sandra) Yocum, Plymouth, Charlie Yocum, Plymouth, 2 sisters: Carol (Steve Kassing) Hiland, Augusta, and Cheryle Ard, Mountain View, Missouri.

Connie was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 1 infant child, 1 brother, and 8 sisters.

Connie loved horseback riding, drawing, singing, doing puzzles.  She was a member of Shephard’s Gate Church in Macomb. She also served with Nomad’s and Agape Fellowship.  Most of all Connie loved spending time with her family.

Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M. Thursday, May 25, 2023, at the Jones Mortuary in Colchester, with Rev. Doug Kuster.  Burial will follow the services at Mt. Auburn Cemetery in Colchester.  Visitation with the family will be from 12 noon to 1:00 P.M. on Thursday at the funeral home.  Friends may view and sign the register book at the funeral from 8:30 A.M. till 6:00 P.M.
