Cheryl Ann (O'Malley) Knowles

Cheryl Ann O’Malley Knowles age 67 of Quincy, passed away Wednesday, November 15, 2023, at Blessing Hospital in Quincy.  She was born May 11, 1956, in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania, to Thomas and Adele Brudey O’Malley.  Cheryl was united in marriage to Arthur Knowles, on November 15, 2023, in Quincy.

Surviving to mourn her passing is her husband Arthur Knowles, Quincy, 7 children: Adele Johnson, Fort Smith, Arkansas, Bettie Richards, Macomb, Jamie R. Thomas, Macomb, Thomas Thomas, Macomb, Rachelle Thomas, Blandinsville, Rose Brann, Quincy, Jimmie Spencer, Macomb, 23 grandchildren: Cody Johnson, Catlyn Johnson, Cory Spencer, Veronica Ramos, Robert Mack Drew Ramos, Ryan Johnson, Draco Elliott, Majestyc Johnson, Bently Thomas, Logan Thomas, Skyler Hjellming, Gianna Thomas, Dustin Grogg, Michael Thomas, Dakota Thomas, Zoey Thomas, Tyler Duvall, Damon Spencer, Justice Dainty, Janessa Spencer, Natalie Spencer, Jasmine Spencer, Andrew Paul, 4 great grandchildren: Sheylan Triplett, Ny’Easha Triplett, Olivia Johnson, Theodore Duvall, 1 brother: Robert O’Malley, New York, and1 sister: Doreen O’Malley, New York, along with many more extended family.

Cheryl was preceded in death by her parents and 1 grandson: John Krzyzaniak III.

Cheryl enjoyed fishing, hunting, being outdoors, traveling, drives through the country, crocheting, watching movies, and listening to music especially Elvis.  She loved to cook for her family and have her family together to celebrate Christmas and Thanksgiving.  She loved all her animals especially her cats.  She was a huge Pittsburg Stealer fan along with the St. Louis Cardinals.  Cheryl had a huge heart, she was always ready and willing to lend a hand to anyone that needed help, no matter what she had to do.  Cheryl loved her family and her extended family and enjoyed every moment she spent with them.

Visitation with the family will be 4:00 P.M. to 5:30 P.M. Sunday, November 26, 2023, at the Jones Mortuary in Colchester.  A time of sharing will take place at 5:30 P.M. Sunday, November 26, 2023, at the Jones Mortuary.  Friends may sign the register book at the funeral home after 11:00 A.M.
